When you need a map
— not more advice
You've had plenty of explanations. None of them really landed, did they.
Your body keeps score. It doesn't lie. It speaks in symptoms — first in whispers, then louder, until eventually it's screaming. And while you're being sent from one specialist to the next, trying to make the symptoms disappear, your body stays utterly stubborn.
Because it's not being heard yet.
Your body and your home are the two things closest to you that don't know how to lie.
Your home tells the same story. You've made it work. You may even like it. But you don't land there. Not fully. Something is slightly off — like a book held too close or too far to read properly.
Somewhere, a deeper layer hasn't been seen yet.
That's where I come in.
Internal Cartography is not therapy. It's not a protocol. It's a way of finding the root — of your body, your space, your repeating patterns — using the combined precision of classical homeopathy, Feng Shui, and systemic thinking.
We don't suppress. We locate. We map. We meet what's actually there.
MAPPING YOUR INTERNAL LANDSCAPE
WHO BENEFITS MOST
You've done the work. Therapy, perhaps coaching. Something helped — but something remains.
A residue that none of it quite reached. You're not in acute crisis. You're in that particular kind of tiredness that comes from having worked hard on yourself and still feeling that the deepest thing hasn't been named yet.
You're intelligent, reflective, probably functioning well on the outside. But something keeps returning — in a different coat each time, asking the same question you haven't yet been able to answer.
You suspect your life is trying to tell you something. You just can't see the forest for the trees.
This work is for you if you are ready to step back far enough to finally see the whole pattern.
HOW I WORK
TMost practitioners work within a single discipline. They see what their training has taught them to see — and they see it well. I work in the space where disciplines meet: in the territory that falls between established categories.
Some things only become visible from a wider angle. That is the whole principle.
1. Reading the Body Classical homeopathy is not about suppressing symptoms. It is about listening to what the body has been trying to say — sometimes for years. A symptom is not a malfunction. It is a message. I help you hear it.
The body and your home are the two things closest to you that don't know how to lie.
2. Reading the Space Your home and workspace are not neutral. They reflect — and shape — how energy, attention, and authority move through your life. Classical Feng Shui, which I have been practising and teaching for over twenty years, is a precise art of reading that language.
Often, a few considered changes restore a flow that no amount of inner work alone could reach.
3. Reading the Pattern Across body, space, and time, there is always a pattern. It has its own logic — its own coherence — even when it appears as chaos or stuckness or repetition. I hold all three lenses simultaneously and look for what connects them.
That connection is the map.
WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH
Not a fixed self. A legible one.
You leave with language for what has been happening — and a clearer sense of what the terrain has actually been asking of you. Decisions become cleaner, not because life gets simpler, but because you know where you stand within it.
The problem hasn't been erased. It has been placed. And from that place of orientation, you can finally begin to move — not in reaction, not in escape, but with intention.
If you feel a quiet “yes” while reading this, you’re welcome to reach out.
We start with a short orientation call to see whether my way of working fits you. And whether I’m the right person for your question.
A CASE IN POINT
She came with a diagnosis. Several, actually.
Depression. Anxiety. Treatment-resistant, they said, after three years of medication that helped but never quite reached the root of things. She was intelligent, grounded, clear about her own history. No obvious trauma. A good marriage. A family who loved her. By every external measure, a life that should have felt liveable.
But it didn't.
It had started, she said, when she moved house. Nobody had thought to look at the house.
When we looked together — at the space, at her history, at the particular quality of her sensitivity — something became visible that three years of treatment had not been able to reach. The experts finally inspected the property. They found mould. Humidity at levels the inspector said he had rarely seen. The house itself was making her ill.
She wasn't treatment-resistant. She wasn't crazy. She was a highly sensitive person living in a toxic space, carrying an inherited vulnerability to displacement and climate, whose symptoms made complete sense once you could see the whole pattern.
The antidepressants had treated one thread.
She needed someone to look at the carpet.

ABOUT LIOBA
I have been weaving for as long as I can remember. Not always literally — though I have woven carpets. In the sense that matters: working thread by thread toward a pattern that only becomes visible from a distance.
I trained as an artist at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie / Sandberg Institute Amsterdam before I became a practitioner. I learned to see — not just to look. To hold the whole before insisting on the part.
Twenty-five years later, I work at the intersection of classical homeopathy, art and Feng Shui, and what I now call Internal Cartography. These are not separate disciplines. They are different ways of reading the same deep reality — body, space, time, and pattern — and I hold them simultaneously.
My formation has been shaped as much by long immersion in Taoism, Sufism, and the Persian poetic tradition as by professional training. These are traditions that teach how to be with what is. How to read what is actually present. How to find the coherence in what appears to be chaos.
I am a registered homeopath and member of the NVKH. Part of the homeopathic work is reimbursable by Dutch health insurance under ‘alternatieve geneeskunde’.
I work in Dutch, English, and German — online and in person in Arnhem.
FAQ’s
-
No. This is not therapy.
Therapy often focuses on processing the past. Internal Cartography focuses on orientation, clarity, and forward movement. We work with patterns, decision-making, and internal structure — so you can regain direction and agency. -
The work is grounded and practical.
While it includes deep pattern recognition, it is not belief-based, not religious, and not abstract.
Clients often describe it as strategic inner navigation rather than self-help. -
This work is not for people looking for quick motivation, external validation, or someone to tell them what to do.
It is for people who are willing to take responsibility and want clarity that leads to real change. -
Many of my clients are functioning extremely well on the outside.
The work starts when success no longer brings clarity, energy, or satisfaction — and you sense something needs recalibration before bigger consequences follow. -
You don’t need to believe in anything.
We start with a clarity session to determine whether this approach fits you. If not, I’m happy to think with you what might be better suiting for your current situation. -
Most clients experience significant clarity within the first phase.
Deeper integration happens over time, depending on the complexity of your situation and how decisively you act on insights.
FROM THE JOURNAL
Occasional writing on pattern, illness, space, and the art of seeing what has always been there.
The Break That Opens: On Illness as Initiation There is a particular kind of joy that arrives with serious illness. Not martyrdom. Not spiritual bypassing. Something quieter and stranger — a recognition, almost cellular, that something important is finally happening.
